Chad was born on February 18, 1981 in Marshalltown, Iowa, to the proud parents of Steven and Mary (Vaux) Gile. Chad grew up in the Marshalltown area; after high school he attended trade school and received a degree in Tool and Die. Chad was a proud employee of Fisher Control. He was part of the local union, served as president for Fisher Control and was honored to have served for his fellow employees. He last was a Routing Analyst with Fisher Control. On September 11, 2004, Chad was united in marriage to Christina Egger at Saint Paul’s Lutheran Church in State Center, Iowa. The two made their lives in Marshalltown raising their two children, Raylee and Ryder. Chad was an outdoorsman in every sense of the word. He could be found ice fishing in the winter, riding dirt bikes in the spring, traveling to Mexico and the Wisconsin Dells with his family in the summer, and hunting in the fall. In rain or shine, his love for letting loose on the open road was done on his Harley. Chad had just recently become involved in hobby farming, raising goats. Chad never met a stranger, his infectious smile and laugh could win anyone over. He had the ability to brighten your day with only a smile and a wave. Chad’s true love was his family; he was a proud husband, father, son and uncle. His memory will forever live on in the hearts of everyone that had the privilege to know him.

Left to honor his memory are his wife of 12 years Christina; children, Raylee and Ryder; parents, Steven and Mary; sister, Alicia (Dave) Smith and nephews Hunter, Brayden, and Tanner; Father and Mother-in-law, Richard and Nancy Egger; sisters-in-law, Michele Reece, Belinda (Alan) Tichy and Tricia (James) Stewart; aunt, Jo (Al) Bergman and Uncle Gary (Deanna) Vaux and many nieces and nephews.

Chad is preceded in death by his grandparents Ray and June Gile, and Harold and Helen Vaux.
