Patricia Ann Howe (Hanish), 70, Taos, New Mexico

Patricia Ann Howe (Hanish), 70, passed away on September 20, 2025, in Taos, New Mexico.

Born on August 2, 1955, in Wisconsin, her parents Stosh and Margaret Hanish eventually moved their family to Marshalltown, Iowa, where Pat attended high school and graduated. While in high school, Pat enjoyed swimming and helping her dad with their horses.

Pat attended the University of Iowa, where she received her bachelor’s degree in Radiology Technology. She worked as a Radiology Technician for many years. She would go on to meet the love of her life, Rick Howe, and they married in October of 1982. Pat and Rick had two sons, Nick and Ross. As a family, they enjoyed watching the Iowa State Cyclones, supporting their boys in sports, eating Zeno’s pizza, and being together most of all.

Pat is survived by her children Nick (Ashley) and Ross (MacKenzie); three grandsons Hunter, Rhett, and Tucker, with another on the way in March 2026, along with several siblings, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Rick, sister Nancy, and her parents.
