Claude LeRoy Stanley, 69, of State Center, passed away on Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at State Center Specialty Care in State Center.

Claude Stanley was born on October 3, 1954 in Marshalltown. He was the son to Herbert and Barbara (Miller) Stanley. Claude had previously been employed at JBS as well as a farm-hand. He enjoyed hunting, farming and would always have a smile on his face. He will be remembered for always wearing his overalls and cowboy boots.
Claude is survived by his children: Cody Stanley of Marshalltown and Shawna Stackhouse of Marshalltown. Siblings: Connie (Mike) Matney of Jefferson, Debra (Joe) Robinson of Marshalltown, Larry (Connie) Stanley of Marshalltown, Loyce (Janice) Stanley of Albion, Gary Stanley of Marshalltown and Rick Stanley of Le Grand. He is also survived by grandchildren: Kaiya Vokoun, Takota Vokoun, Damien Vokoun, Sebastian Oberbeck, Ryan Oberbeck and Sasha Stanley and great-grandchildren: Keegan Wyatt and Anastasia Harter.
Claude is preceded in death by his parents: Herbert and Barbara; siblings: Mike Stanley and Cindy Stanley; nephew: Brian Stanley and niece: Michelle Stanley.
