Dale L. Anselme, 93, of Marshalltown, Iowa, passed away on the morning of Sunday, June 24, 2018 at Grandview Heights Rehab and Healthcare with his loving family by his side. Memorial services for Dale will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at Mitchell Family Funeral
Home with Pastor Alex Post officiating. Public visitation will be held one hour prior to services. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be

Dale L. Anselme was born on November 5, 1924 in State Center, Iowa the son of Ralph and Norma (Gerke) Anselme. He was united in marriage to the love of his life Delores Sharer on May 7, 1944 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in State Center, Iowa. Dale was a hardworking man spending 25 years as a farmer. He also worked at the Central Iowa Farm Store where he retired in 1992. Dale enjoyed fishing, riding horses, going to the casino, taking car rides and most importantly spending time with this family and friends.
Left to cherish his memory are his two daughters: Karla (Ron) Thompson of McKinney, Texas and Karen Anselme of Marshalltown, Iowa; grandchildren: Erin (Kyle) Hejl and Kyle (Kelly) Thompson; great-grandchildren: Aubrey, Cooper, Nolan Hejl and Luke Thompson all of McKinney, Texas; siblings: Lloyd (Beverly) Anselme and Bonnie (Gene) Wolken-Kunch. He is preceded in death by his infant son, Nyle; spouse: Delores Anselme; parents: Ralph and Norma Anselme; sisters: Loreta Riemenschneider, Shirley Umbaugh-Sellers.
