Bryan Schoppe, age 54, of Radcliffe, Iowa, passed away on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at his home in Radcliffe, Iowa.
Visitation will be held Saturday, March 19, 2022, from 1:00 pm to4:00 pm at Hands On Excavating LLC, 3305 Ziegler Ave. , Radcliffe. A memorial service will be held Sunday, March 20, 2022 at 2:00 pm at the Harvest Assembly of God located at 509 US-69 , Huxley. He will be laid to rest at Hillside Cemetery on Eastman Avenue, State Center.
Bryan Jay Schoppe was born on April 20, 1967 in Marshalltown, IA to Clair and Rachel (Serfoss) Schoppe. He attended school in State Center and graduated from Marshalltown High School in 1986. On October 14, 2000, Bryan married Terri Gummert and were together for 17 years. Together they raised Terri’s nephews Justin and Jeremy and niece Jessica Vestweber. Bryan worked as a truck driver. He loved farming and trucking, a good tractor pull and helping others wherever he could. He attended the Harvest Assembly of God Church in Huxley, Iowa. He passed away on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at his home in Radcliffe, Iowa.
Bryan is survived by his son, Justin (Laura) Schoppe; nephew Jeremy Vestweber; niece Jessica Vestweber; sister Brenda Edmunds and brother Berwin Schoppe; along with several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Clair and Kay (Serfoss) Schoppe and grandparents Alva (Emma) Schoppe and John (Zelma) Serfoss.
