Delores E. Roberts, age 81, of Ramsey Village in Des Moines, departed this earthly life on the evening of Sunday, September 23rd, at her home.

Born Delores Elaine Ruch on April 24th, 1937, in Hannibal, MO., she was the daughter of William and Nora (James) Ruch.
Delores was united in marriage to Jerry Lee Roberts and later Merle Starn. She was employed at Marshalltown Packaging Corporation and previously Midwest Spring and Kresge’s. Cooking and watching car races were fun, but when it involved her grandchildren or family, it was so much better! She loved her pets too! Delores also gave of her time volunteering at Anson School.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons: Rick (Carey) Roberts of Tracy, IA and Davin Roberts (Jacqueline Riekena) of West Des Moines; step-children Jerry Starn of Marshalltown and Christine Suckak of Melbourne; grandchildren Vincent (Shelly) Stewart, Logun (Keri) Roberts and Noel Roberts; great-grandchildren- Sawyere, Wyatt, Pacin and Nora and her only brother Kenneth (Lila) Ruch of Indianola.
In death, Delores rejoined her parents and former husband, Merle Starn.
