Duane Lee Heishman, 58, formerly State Center
Duane Lee Heishman, 58, of Lamar, Colorado, formerly of State Center, Iowa, departed this life in the early hours of Wednesday, July 18th, 2018, at his home with his wife, Marla Jo at his side. Duane was the youngest child of Charles (Jr) Heishman and Ruth (Osborn) Heishman, born in Marshalltown, Iowa, on December 5th, 1959.
Duane was a truck driver all of his adult life, and loved what he was doing, lastly working for Bosselman Enterprises out of Grand Island, NE. He delivered gasoline out of the Denver, CO. Terminal to Bosselman’s Travel Centers all across Colorado and Nebraska.
He will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Marla Jo of Lamar, CO., and four children; Justin (Ashley) Heishman of Broomfield, CO., Jason (Amber) Heishman of Hokah, MN,. Lynelle (Bryan) Solensky of Northglenn, CO., and John (Jaime) Heishman of Brookfield, CO., and thirteen grandchildren. Daune is also survived by a brother John (Denise) Heishman of Kansas City, MO., and sister, Linda (Jon) Heishman-Needs of State Center, IA., several nieces, nephews, and other relatives, and a host of friends.
Preceding Duane in death are his parents, Charles (Jr) Heishman and Ruth Heishman.
There will be a public visitation at Mitchell Family Funeral Home West Marshall Chapel, 104 Main St. W. State Center, Iowa. On Thursday, August 9th, 5-7 P.M.
